Versed in the use of Switch tech’s tool, Siemens HP UX Software called Radio Commander. This was used to turn up and turn down RAN signaling to the 3g UMTS/CDMA Antenna arrays for the assigned tower crew working on site in a Tri-state area, Illinois, Missouri and Kansas. Also was used to create alarms for their RAN signaling to the 3g UMTS/CDMA Antenna arrays from the BTS to the Regional Operation Control Centers can monitor remotely reporting from the BTS/cell to the switch platform located at their R-NOCC. To coordinate the crews for the installation of  LTE RAN Equipment for the next phase of 4g equipment. Versed in the Used of a Nortel developed HP UX software called WMS from the Alcatel/ Lucent 7670 switches levels to access the UMTS/CDMA 3g RAN signaling path to the BTS Cell site to turn up and turn down the antenna arrays for the tower crew assign to expand antenna array’s for the use of RAN 3g UMTS signaling in a Tri-state area. Versed in the use of the AT&T software use for their ticketing systems to create tickets and specific tickets called EIM’s for the crew working the Tri-state area.

 

Convergenz /Sprint/Nextel  RNET Engineer (Cisco/ juniper Specialist)

November 2007 to February 2008 Lenexa, KS

Contracted by Sprint to help get their 2g router network up to 3g spec’s. Performed nightly change management events, with the switch techs for the upgrade of the Cisco 10008K and  Juniper M10i & M40e routers on the Sprint Core local area and wide area network. To the switches up to MLPPP standards, worked the RNET  hotline during the days to help assist the switch techs with new builds and upgrade stragglers sites on the 3g network as well.

 

Tek Sys./Cingular the New AT&T Switch Technician / T1 test & turn up

Acceptance with 3g layer Cells sites. Test head to head with Local Exchange Carriers and be familiar with the 2310 T-bird for manual testing of UMTS/ CDMA  RAN technology T1’s form the switch side  as well. Monitoring the TDMA on 5E Lucent Switch, cat five wiring for the True position (E911) equipment. Test the paths of  LMU’s for the E911. Check the cross connects in the 532L DAC’s . Keep accurate records of new UMTS/ CDMA  RAN technology  installs of the T1 testing platform, by use of their CTS ticket management system. Also provision the path for the new UMTS/ CDMA  RAN  T1’s in the Alcatel 1631 & Tellabs DAC’s, Tellabs 5500 DAC’s. Also Scripted Span adds from the Switch to the UMTS / CDMA   BTS/ cell site as a switch technician as well, for UMTS/ CDMA  RAN 3g carrier adds.
